Deepshika Nagpal who was last seen in Bigg Boss 8 is currently gearing up for her upcoming film ‘Second Hand Husband’ where the actress will be seen romancing with none other than living legend Dharmendra.  After doing films with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan the hot bombshell has now bagged a pivotal role in ‘Second Hand Husband’ which also stars Gippy Gerewal and Govinda’s daughter Narmada Ahuja in it. Deepshika had previously worked with the Doel family but in different films.

 

Deepshika is playing the role of Dharmendra’s girlfriend in the film and have shot few romantic sequences also, After watching the crackling chemistry between Dharmendra and Deepshika, the director of the film was very happy and also was seen appreciating their on screen Jodi.

 

She is one of the few actresses who got an opportunity to work with all the members of Doel family. Commenting on this Deepshikha says , "I am playing Dharamji's girl friend . It's comedy film. Dharm Ji did one guest appearance song in my film barsaat ki Raat after that I am doing this film. It's always Plesure to work with Deol family. I worked with Hemaji in Jai Mata Ki. With sunny and bobby in " Dillagi "they all are superb human being . My director is very happy as Dharamji and mine chemistry was coming very good."

 

 

 

Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, ZEEL wins IMPACT Person of the Year 2014

 

Mumbai, December 07, 2014: Mr. Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) was awarded the prestigious IMPACT Person of the Year 2014 on December 05, 2014 at a glittering function held at the ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. The Governor of Maharashtra, Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao felicitated Mr. Goenka with the award in the presence of Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Essel Group and ZEEL and Mr. Annurag Batra, Chairman, exchange4media Group.

 

Mr. Punit Goenka won this award for his efforts in bringing about change in television audience measurement in the country, driving profitability in the broadcast sector and steering ZEEL to a steady rise.

 

On accepting the award, Mr. Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, ZEEL said, “It is always a pleasure to get an award which recognizes your achievements, and for making a difference to the industry. But for me, this is a special one, since it also recognizes and applauds the human side and hence titled as ‘IMPACT Person of the Year’.”

 

Mr. Goenka further added, “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our Chairman, Dr. Subhash Chandra, for it is his pioneering vision and guidance, which makes us stand tall today ; my wife, Shreyasi, who has been a great support to me ; and of course my entire team at ZEE.”

Actress Veena Malik sentenced to 26-year in prison with fine

Pakistani actress Veena Malik who made her mark in bollywood, has enjoyed the stardom and then selected to live a happily married life with her husband Asad Bashir Khatak and her new born baby. It seems that Veena Malik was quite happy in her life but suddenly controversy never seem to leave her away as her problems are  not coming to an end till now. Recently Veena Malik and her husband was awarded by the court for 26-year incarcerations and was also fined them Rs. 1.3 million Pakistani money. A Pakistan court on Tuesday sentenced the owner of the country’s biggest media group Geo TV to 26 years in prison for broadcasting a show which they said it  was blasphemous. The verdict against Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman along with the host of the show and two guests, including Veena Malik, was announced by an anti-terror court in the city of Gilgit, which is controlled by Pakistan territory but also part of the Kashmir region which India also claims. The morning show was broadcasted live on Geo TV in May featuring Malik dancing with her new husband while a group of Sufi musicians sang a devotional song about the wedding of the Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) daughter. Malik returned to Dubai two weeks ago from the US after giving birth to a baby boy. Her lawyer has already started the work to appeal against the verdict in higher courts.

Shocked Veena Malik said, " Its a shock to me but I have complete faith in Pakistan’s higher courts and judiciary … This court works separately from the other courts in Pakistan. There are higher courts in Pakistan such as the Supreme Court. Whenever there is an issue a court will look into the facts of the case. We were not even present in the court at the time of the verdict. I have belief and trust in courts.”

Geo Television Network was accused of blasphemy after it ran a program insulting the family of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The four people including Mir Shakeel ur Rehman, Shaista lodhi, Veena Malik and her husband Asad Bashir Khatak convicted were also ordered to pay a fine by  selling their properties and surrender their passports, according to a copy of the court order. Veena maintains that she’s innocent and would never commit blasphemy. “We are planning to return to Pakistan in December. I have always been a person who faced troubles by looking it in the eye. I have faced highs and lows in my life. But I am sure I haven’t done anything wrong.”

Mumbai, October 7, 2014: As our respectable Prime Minister - Mr. Narendra Modi launched the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Clean India; the team of ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami’ contributed to the movement in their own small way.

 

The entire team of this upcoming satire got together on the occasion of Gandhiji’s birthday to pay tribute to the father of the nation. They started with saluting Gandhiji with an Ekkees Toppon ki Salaami (21 gun salute), followed by honouring common people who have served the society and have been honest and faithful. The team then joined the ‘Clean India Movement’ that was kicked off by the PM by pledging to dedicate 100 hours a year towards cleaning the city. Actors like Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, Aditi Sharma, Neha Dhupia and Manu Rishi were present on the occasion to take up the pledge and work towards building a cleaner India.

 

The team also released a new game called ‘Clean Up Your Society’ that signifies the message that the movie sends across – to clean the society and keep the bad elements away. The game starts with giving the players, the option to name two bad elements in the society. The objective is to shoot all the bad elements and clean the society of them. At the end of the game, the player gets the final score and a percentage of how much they contributed in removing the bad elements. Plagiarism is not uncommon in entertainment industry, and the latest to suffer is the upcoming film ‘Bhaangarh’ made by Dilip Sood. In a truly copy pasted version of the movie, we have ‘Trip to Bhangarh’ where the director Jeetender Panwar has diligently stolen the concept and made it his own. This film was originally titled as ‘Mangal Raat Deewani’. It is evident from such a title that ‘Trip to Bhangarh’ has disastrously tried to upgrade their C grade film by copying the title of ‘Bhaangarh’.

Very cleverly, Mr. Panwar has announced the release date of his film on 22^nd August, 2014 trying to encash on the hits of ‘Bhaangarh’ on the social networking sites. ‘Bhaangarh’ is slated to release on a later date, which has been used by our cunning director as an opportunity to confuse the audience by releasing his film before the original one.  

The unscrupulous motive can easily be traced from the clearly outlined similarities from the trailers.

1.       The director may have blissfully forgotten that a human eye can capture the reality more than what his camera movements could have done while making ‘Trip to Bhangarh’.

World renowned musician, Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan stirred the audiences with his soulful music. Mumbai, March 02, 2014:  The International Advertising Association’s (IAA) India Chapter bestowed the prestigious ‘Media Person of the Year’ award on Mr. Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL), at the recently held IAA Leadership Awards ceremony, in Mumbai.
